Celtic Crossings on The River. Sundays at 7AM & 6PM.
Celtic music awakened connections to my deep Irish roots and allowed me travel back to Prince Edward Island and across to Ireland through the music. This year I made a big discovery. As an American, maybe I am not part of a melting pot. Perhaps, I am part of a salad bowl.
Discovering the good, the bad and the ugly of my Celtic roots has allowed me to broaden my outlook on tolerance, justice and equality. I feel privileged I share a microphone each and every week with a series of music lovers who bring music from around the world to the listeners of the Connecticut Valley and the Internet. We share cultures and prayer every day. It is about sharing and sometimes blending.
